Game of Thrones is one of the most watched and anticipated tv series of all times. So, when it comes to this HBO fantasy show, predictions and fan theories can’t be restricted. One theory has recently came up that appears to be very convincing. If that happens to be true, it might be able to decide our favorite characters’ fate. (Check: Who is Azor Ahai?)
If you are an avid fan of GoT, then you must have known that the drama always comes with surprises, and is known for taking emotional turns very often. This theory has left us very anxious. In the entire run of its seven seasons, we have seen very chaotic things – be it when the Ned Stark was beheaded or when Hodor died unfortunately.
But, But, But, there had been many moments for which the viewers have been waiting for. One of them is Jon Snow getting to know his true roots, i.e., that he belongs to Targaryen. He will be reuniting with Arya Stark which will be quite an emotional event to experience. Amid many speculations, some reports suggest Jon will meet Cersei for one last time. It is being said that Snow will marry her to save Winterfell.
In the last of Game of Thrones season 7, Cersei got pregnant again. In the same installment, we saw see both of them – Cersei and Jon – meeting at the King’s Landing, and Jon denying to call her his queen or to be specific denying to bend the knee for her out in the open.
By the end of the installment, we came to see that Cersei was riding high on the madness’ path. She was killing every single last of her enemies or whosoever who wished death upon her family. Jamie, her brother and lover, left her side in the end. Now, Cersei is left all alone and she is in desperate need of someone by her side who can help her ruling all the seven kingdoms.
The odds may seem against her, but you must remember that this is Game of Thrones and anything can happen in the show.
According to the above mentioned report, it is expected that Jon and Cersei will come to an agreement for their own business’ benefits. It will benefit both of them. It’s because Jon needs an army to fight the White Walkers while Cersei need disciples and friends to help her rule the seven kingdoms.
Only the time will tell what fate Winterfell is heading towards. Game of Thrones season 8 release date is April 14, 2019.
