Game of Thrones Prequel: A new came in that longtime GoT staff writer Bryan Cogman is going to make his own version of GoT spinoff. Apart from him, the other four writers have already been confirmed developing four other prequels. Thus making the total number of spinoffs to 5. This is an exiciting news. What’s more interesting is that George RR Martin will join him.
Compared to the other writers involved in these projects, Cogman is the most experienced in terms of the GoT. Also, he has spent the most time with A Song of Ice and Fire creator Martin. Martin shared this news on his blog Not A Blog.
Game of Thrones Prequel
Bryan Cogman should need no introduction for any GoT fan. He’s been part of the show since the beginning… since before the beginning, actually, since he was first hired as assistant to David Benioff and D.B Weiss way before the series got on the air, before even the pilot had been filmed. From those humble beginnings, he advanced to staff writer, to story editor, to co-producer and producer and supervising producer.
In the report, Martin praised the work of Cogman on the show. He has written episodes like Kissed by Fire, The Laws of Gods and Men, and Stormborn, etc. Martin, the creator of the novels on which the series is based, praised him a lot in one of the posts on his blog.
